People often describe bee pollen as the most complete food found in nature. Ingestion of bee pollen by humans is lauded in the Bible, other religious books, and even ancient Egyptian and Chinese texts. Bee pollen rejuvenates the body, stimulates glands and organs, results in longevity, and enhances vitality. Bee pollen is very popular among a large number of world class athletes and people who are interested in enhancing and sustaining quality performance because of its capability to noticeably and consistently increase energy levels. There are also many health benefits of honey.
Bee propolis, often recognized as Nature’s penicillin, has been in use throughout history to treat colitis, TB, mitosis, ulcers, and to boost immunity. Bee propolis has been known to destroy viruses, bacteria, fungi, and even those bacteria resistant to penicillin like staphylococcus. Contained are bioflavonoids, and one of these is a natural antibiotic. Also, immune functioning is boosted by bee propolis, specifically through enhancing the activity of phagocytes. Bee propolis stops inflammation through the inhibition of prostaglandin production.
Bee propolis is a resin gathered by bees from plants and used in building the hive. Bees have been practicing sterilization habits long before humans ever did. The bee hive is the most sterile place in nature. Propolis is the substance that’s responsible for the neutralization of any fungi, bacteria, or virus that enters the hive. One of the most powerful natural foods, propolis is composed of a very complex mixture of oils, resins, balsams, waxes, and a small amount of pollen.
Bee propolis is a waxy substance that contains phytotonizides and is gathered by honey bees. Phytotonizides are believed to contain immunity factors, which when used internally, stimulates the body and gives it a natural resistance to diseases , a natural antibiotic. Propolis is gathered from all over the world, and maintaining the right temperature will ensure maximum consistency and freshness.
As a supplement, bee propolis is an excellent aid against bacterial infections. Stimulates ‘phagocytosis’; helps white blood cells to destroy bacteria. Good results against ulcers, acne, halitosis, tonsillitis, dry cough, and inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. Stimulates immune system. It is also important to have numerous queen bees for sale since each hive can only have one queen.
Royal jelly has a complex chemical structure, it is produced as food for larva by the young nurse bees. Even though it is not as popular as bee pollen, royal jelly has the same salutary effects.
The young nurse bees make royal jelly, it is a secretion from glands on the tops of their heads. For two to three days, the young larvae are fed royal jelly throughout their maturation process, while queen larvae are fed only royal jelly their whole lives. During the time the worker larvae are fed royal jelly, they develop fully; their weights multiply by around 250 times more. The queen, who gets to eat only royal jelly her entire life, matures earlier than the workers by 5 days; she weighs twice as much as a worker bee when she grows fully. The span of the worker bee’s life is about 35-40 days; while the queen lasts 5-6 years and is very prolific. She gets fertilized once, and from then can lay as many as 3,000 eggs every day during the season. Incredible as that may sound, she can lay that many for 5 years.
Bees aren’t the only ones who find this rich concentration of food useful. It contains remarkable amounts of proteins, lipids, glucides, vitamins, hormones, enzymes, mineral substances, and specific vital factors that act as biocatalysts in cell regeneration processes within the human body.
