2010 Honda CR-V Examination – A Favorite For Many
A few years following the 2007 best selling model, the 2010 Honda CR-V has continued to be a favorite among SUV owners. The 2010 sports utility automobile model has been informed with visual appeal and is more steady than previous models. Many benefits of the vehicle remain the same, including the 4-cylinder engine. Cargo Space
Buyers select SUVs over cars for superior cargo space, which is a specification for an SUV. The 2010 Honda CRV is not omitted from the need for cargo room and is has a lot of area and also allows for the seats in the second row to be rolled. Most are designed with cloth seats, but an upgrade to leather is an option for those who can fit the further expense into the budget. Another benefit to making long road trips is the driver and riders seem to never grow weary of sitting in the automobile.
Safety Features and Upgrades
Consumer Reports measure the Honda CR-V SUV as above average in the part of safety. The vehicle underwent collision tests with high scores and was exceptional in the area of highway basic safety. Points on the 2010 Honda CRV which underwent adjustments were the new style of hood, the bumpers and the grille. The adjustments were not extreme, but were easily observed during comparisons to previous designs.
Under the New Hood
Offered for this fuel efficient car is Genuine Time four-wheel drive or front wheel drive. The four wheel drive provides better traction when essential by drivers under various road situations. Gas mileage upgraded to 21 miles per gallon for driving in the city, 28 miles per gallon for highway traveling. Another attribute is the 2.4 liter engine with 180 horsepower. It is a high-quality vehicle for new drivers and also comes with a five-speed automatic transmission.
Exterior Design
The front of the vehicle has a newly designed grille. The hood has been redesigned and a new style of bumper has been added. Even with the changes to the outer design, it remains very similar to previous designs. An added benefit is how the stylish outer design masks the roomy interior furnishing.
Overall Results
Though Honda did not add a six-cylinder engine option, the 2010 Honda CR-V engine upgraded with 14 more horsepower and goes on to be a top selection SUV for buyers. It remains stylish and roomy and gets great gas mileage, which is a welcome feature to pocketbooks in the event of rising fuel prices. Much more miles to the gallon is an excellent feature when comparing SUV’s out there. Most will offer roomy interiors and accessible cargo space, yet not all will boast about how far the SUV will take a trip on one tank of gas.
