Throughout the years, wire baskets have been an ideal storage solution. When you think of wire made baskets, supermarket shopping baskets probably spring to mind, but there are many other uses for wire constructed baskets that you may have overlooked. A common sight in Supermarkets and shops the world over is wire shopping baskets. Hard wearing and boasting a long lifespan, well known brands choose baskets typically constructed from steel wire. With holding varying weights in mind, the baskets incorporate robust hinge and handles, with many colour options of basket available to match a company’s corporate image.
Storage Baskets Or Bins
Dump bins or storage bins, as they’re called, are also common applications for wire baskets. Products on special offer are normally displayed using wire storage bins and they are traditionally located at the side of an aisle. Great for being stored when not in use due to their foldable design, they are still very sturdy when constructed. Being made from wire, signs and display posters are easily clipped to the sides. Plastic coating and paint options are available for the wire storage baskets, or you can leave them as the standard colour.
Shelving Made From Wire Baskets
Wire shelving can be found in many garden stores and DIY shops as its ideal for storing everything from plumbing and electrical equipment right through to garden tools. The shelves can be made from interlinking individual wire baskets or permanently fixed wire shelves. Often coated in a protective green plastic so they can be used inside and out, they are incredibly hard wearing and can last in excess of 10 years. The shelves also come with different size wire mesh options so smaller items such as garden hose adapters can be stored without falling through the gaps.
